2. These guys even have their own gaming brand!: PLAYNATION

Not just limited to boardgames, you’ll find a variety of beloved childhood favourites, from guitar hero to Xbox games and consoles, and in total, this gaming cafe also houses more than 500 varieties of games to choose from. 

But that’s not all, back in 2009 PLAYNATION actually developed their own range of games, including card games which have been sold inside their stores, alongside their selection of other worldwide games for sale.

3. The first gaming restaurant in Singapore: Mosanco Settlers Cafe

Anybody else’s first thoughts go to the famous Settlers of Catan game when getting a load of their name? This cafe was in fact Singapore’s first ever 24/7 game spot when it first opened its doors back in 2003 and they solely focus on all your favourite board games, including all the classics such as Werewolf and Monopoly. 

They also take the food front quite seriously and were definitely part of the city’s pioneers that introduced the concept of dining whilst playing games at the same time – not just offering a few snacks to enjoy, but real, delicious food! Plus, there’s also private games rooms which you can hire out!

If you’re a serious gamer, then chances are you’ll appreciate this fuss-free gaming cafe where in fact, regular gaming leagues are held amongst players!

6. Have you always wanted to be a detective?: 北极星桌游 Polaris Board Game

Have you ever had a go at a role-playing game, or a murder mystery to be more specific? Don’t arrive expecting to sit around a board and table here, instead each person is given a different character and you all have to try and solve the crime, finding out who is the killer! 

As a team, decide on which scenario best suits you all, and there are over 300 different storylines to choose from! So do go forgetting the ordinary here and bring your acting skills along!

7. A cafe where everything is free??!: Coffeemin

Technically, this is sort of true, as once you enter the cafe, the only thing that you pay for is your time spent inside…and the rest IS free! (That includes your coffee, snacks, Wifi, books, and games!) 

In addition to the standard board games you’ll find, there are also xbox games and LAN games to make use of and get this, the cafe also offers many interesting classes such as pottery, weaving and enamel jewelry-making. There’s certainly something for everyone. 

P.s. It’s also a co-working space if you wanna get in some work whilst the kids play, and you’re allowed to bring along your own food!

Deemed as Singapore’s largest board game shop, players can now actually book out tables in-stores and spend a few hours in a solid gaming atmosphere.
