Southeast Asia’s First Resort Hotel Using Repurposed Buses
Twenty retired Singaporean public buses have been repurposed into luxury hotel rooms and are located in Changi Village, Singapore.
The Bus Collective is a unique and innovative concept that offers a one-of-a-kind stay experience. This establishment complements Changi Village’s ecosystem and is housed in a refurbished single decker bus surrounded by nature and history.
Step on board and be transported to a cosy and intimate setting. Whether you are seeking a romantic getaway, a family vacation, a transit hotel or a destination for your dream wedding, The Bus Collective is the perfect choice. With impeccable service, luxurious amenities and stunning location, it will guarantee you an unforgettable experience that will leave you longing to return.
Each room covers 45 sqm with a mix of family rooms, rooms with bunk beds and bath tubs, rooms suitable for elderlies and rooms that can accommodate up to 3 or 4 adults. Although these retired buses have been entirely refurbished, some features such as the steering wheel, driver seat and windows have been preserved.
Recreational activities are not available on the property, but The Bus Collective will be organizing guided tours which guests can book at the resort hotel’s experience center. You can also get help with bookings, airport transfers, bicycle rentals, fitness classes and mental wellness workshops. There are even tours exploring the charm of Changi Village and its surroundings, like cycling around Pulau Ubin!
Cost: From ~S$398/night
