It’s that spooky time of year again, which means it’s time to head to Universal Studios Singapore for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights. Prepare to scream through four brand-new haunted houses, including one based on the popular South Korean Netflix series, Sweet Home.

This year, Asian-inspired horror takes the spotlight, featuring scenes that span from the ancient Qing Dynasty to a monster-infested modern South Korea. Don’t miss the haunted house themed around key locations from Sweet Home, where you can explore Cha Hyun-su’s apartment and the basement of the Green Home complex, witnessing the terrifying monsters from the show come to life. Next, visit ‘Singapore’s Most Haunted: The Killings,’ where you’ll encounter the restless spirits of numerous victims alongside the malevolent souls that ended their lives.

Prepare for an immersive three-dimensional horror experience in ‘Cursed Scrolls: Dynasty of Darkness.’ You’ll need to evade the fearsome entities from ancient scrolls summoned by The Scrollmaster, a possessed scholar from the Qing Dynasty.

Fans of Jackson Wang will be excited to know he contributed to this year’s event with ‘Under the Castle,’ inspired by his new comic series. This experience immerses you in a cursed castle filled with dark secrets and trapped villagers. Even if you manage to escape, you’ll still face three terrifying scare zones: Vampire Alley, teeming with the undead; The Lost Kampung, haunted by vengeful spirits; and Nether-Land, a voodoo-themed hypnotic rave zone.

Take a breather from the scares with shows like Dark Dreams, featuring the menacing Dream Reaper, or Night Terrors, a chilling projection mapping show showcasing Asian folklore phantoms. Wrap up your night dancing with the undead and eerie giant puppets at Ocu.lar’s Rave.

And don’t forget to search for a unique spine-chilling speakeasy experience. The mysterious Viper Lounge, run by a vampire clan called The Elders, is hidden somewhere in the park. If you find it, you’ll be treated to a selection of deliciously wicked canapés and drinks. Are you ready for the fright?
