Enjoy a day of oceanic discovery as you look out for our four spotlight species and learn about their unique characteristics and natural behaviours that make them especially significant this Year of the Dragon. Don’t miss the underwater dragon dance presentation in our incredible Open Ocean Habitat and create some Insta-worthy moments with our adorable manta mascot Manja.

Auspicious Animal Encounters

Discover the fascinating features of the four spotlight species of marine animals, including the weedy sea dragon, that evoke the wonders of the mythical Chinese dragon this Lunar New Year.

Underwater Dragon Dance

Gather round the Open Ocean Habitat and be enthralled by Singapore’s only underwater dragon dance presentation amongst majestic marine life.  

Timing: 3:30pm (daily) from 26 Jan to 25 Feb 2024

Prosperity Meet & Greet

Receive hearty Chinese New Year greetings from our lovable manta mascot Manja and snap some memorable wefies. 

Timing: 1:30pm and 4pm (weekdays), 1:30pm, 3pm and 4pm (weekends and public holidays) 

Count The Sea Dragons Contest

Stand to win two S.E.A. Aquarium VIP Experience tickets (worth SGD396) to enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour. Contest activity wall is located after our Shark Seas habitat.
