Marsiling Bazaar
The expansive Pasar Malam adjacent to Woodlands MRT Station and Causeway Point has returned, popularly known as the Marsiling Bazaar. This night market will be operational from September 25th to October 24th, 2023.
Visitors have the opportunity to savor a wide variety of street food, snacks, and drinks, with an expanded selection of halal options available. Returning Chinese vendors offer delightful items like grilled kong oyster mushrooms, sweet potato balls, fried treats, corn in a cup, shrimp cakes, and more. Additionally, some stalls now feature stinky tofu, large grilled squids, and a new addition, roast chicken skeleton.
The non-Chinese stalls bring diversity to the night market with notable mentions such as halal dumplings from Sarah’s Dumplings, featuring a variety of flavors, signature banana fritters and palm-sized potato patties from The Original Pisang Keju, and freshly made otahs with a range of fillings from Ranor Tenggiri Fresh Otahs.
Other attractions include sushi, tempura, Thai noodles, and crispy pan-fried Swiss roti. For beverages, visitors can quench their thirst with refreshing options like mango float, bandung, milk tea, and various fruit juices.
Furthermore, the bazaar hosts an array of shops selling nostalgic childhood snacks, candles, claw machines, and a J’Kids Amusement Park, offering entertainment for young ones.
