Flipside 2024
A festival of circus, comedy, physical theater and puppetry.
Flipside by Esplanade is a playful festival celebrating all things fun, quirky and unconventional in the arts scene. This year’s Flipside runs from 31 May to 9 June with several local and international performances in and around Esplanade.
Some highlights include Thingamabob by PanGottic from the UK, who has been creating and touring with his handcrafted contraptions internationally since 2008. There’s also pRINTiNG ERR0R!!!, an improv show by local improv comedy group Improvper Conduct.
There are also workshops for people of all ages, such as Boing! Twist, Twirl & Turn, a craft activity where participants can make cute slinky thank-you notes, and Circus 101 where you can pick up circus tricks such as plate spinning, hula hooping, and ball juggling!
