Chingay Parade 2024: Blossom
Come Chingay Parade 2024, audiences will be busked in the captivating theme of “Blossom.” The theme signifies the growth, transformation and flourishing of both individuals and communities and Chingay’s aspiration for like-minded people and partners to come together to blossom as one community.
The enchanting blooming flowers amongst the parade reflects our people’s spirit of unity and a showcase of the different talents. It will be a spectacle promises of colourful and vibrant costumes, special effects, with flowers taking centre stage as an exquisite motif throughout the six mesmerizing acts.
Highlights:
1. 230m Interactive Floor Projection: Being Singapore’s longest floor projection ever for a street parade, audiences can immerse in it as creative graphics and special visuals light up this beautiful Chingay Garden! Witness our performers parade down the street in this enchanting garden.
2. PAssionArts Street: Be sure to visit the art installations, make these your instagrammable spots and try your hands in the various art activities at the PAssionArts Street. Chingay is partnering more than 10 Community Arts & Culture Clubs (CACCs) to present these art installations co-created by residents and community artists.
3. Chingay National Education (NE) – Blossoming Art Installation: Explore the Chingay space, near/around the F1 Pit Building, which welcomes you with blossom-themed art installations made from recycled materials by the creative students from seven primary and secondary schools.
Be part of this enchanting journey narrated by the Gardener and the Flower Fairy – where every petal tells a story, and every act is a step towards a blossoming future.
