Celebrating Africa
A fundraising celebration of all things African – food, music, art, fashion, and more in support of MBI-music. A festival pass ($68.44 nett) includes access to the following:
from 2pm: African Bazaar with crafts, bites, treats, and more
from 4pm: Music by DJ Krumbs, and Drum Performances by Djeme Singapore Club
4pm – 5pm: Vibrant Africa: A Runway Show featuring designers Astou & Mr Q
6.30pm – 7.30pm: A Conversation with the African Ambassadors (Her Excellency, High Commissioner of South Africa to Singapore, Madiepetsane Charlotte Lobe; and His Excellency, High Commissioner of Rwanda to Singapore, Jean de Dieu Uwihanganye)
from 10pm: AfroBeats Party feat. DJ DaBishop and D’Jack

12pm – 1pm: African Dance Class with Kay the People’s Dancer ($33.04 nett) for adults and children 12+
2pm – 3.30pm: Jewellery-Making Workshop with Tendai Tina Makuku ($44.84 nett per adult, $$21.24 nett per child – aged 8+)
2pm – 3.30pm: South African Wine Tasting with Misizwe Mtshali ($56.64 nett)
